Why You Should Go: Whether you're as steady as John Wayne or as daring as Annie Oakley, knowing how to handle a gun is an essential skill when it comes to protecting yourself and your loved ones. Learn the basics and get your license to carry a concealed weapon at Total Defense.
Why You'll Love It: The federally licensed firearms instructors at Total Defense take self-protection seriously. Along with class time, you'll hit the range for a short state required shooting certification ($15 fee is required). After finishing up (successfully, of course), you'll be given a Minnesota Basic Concealed Carry Course Certificate of Completion to submit to your local sheriff's office…so you can protect yourself in the blink of an eye.
What You'll Learn: During each 6-hour course, they'll cover basic firearm mechanics and fundamentals, concealed carry legislation, limitations and liability issues, carry methods and safety and home defense scenarios. You'll also get a primer in victimization psychology, confrontational situation awareness, defusal and response.
