Why You Should Go: When it’s warm out, you love hopping over the river for Newark Bears games, there’s less of a crowd than Yankee Stadium and the drinks are cheaper than Citi Field. But once the leaves turn and the nights get longer, Bears Stadium is no longer, and the Stadium of Screams is erected, packed with haunted houses, Halloween activities and even costumed pet events.
Your Ticket: You’ll get access to all five bone-chilling haunted houses, a crickety journey of a haunted hayride, access to Barkula (dog costume competition on Sat, Oct 27) and even a meet & greet with the Stadium of Screams actors after the show.
What You Should Know: The show opened on Oct 18, and there’s many more days of scares, screams and puppy-styles to come. Stadium of Screams is open Oct 25-28 and Oct 31 from 7p,-12am and the Barkula Dog Costume Contest is open to all entries on Sat, Oct 27 from 6pm-8pm. The Bears have a little message for you: boo!
