What You Will Learn: Hop aboard one of Sail Dallas' trusty steeds and learn the very foundations of sailing. You'll get a grasp of terminology, technique, and safety while gaining hands-on experience sailing on Lake Lewisville. After your successful first sail, you'll be primed for more advanced classes and trips that Sail Dallas offers. Plus, you'll look good doing it.

What to Know: As an experienced sailor, your captain will be on hand to show you the ropes (literally) and answer all your questions, whether you're confused on which side is port and starboard, or simply need to know how to tie a basic knot. You'll spend 10-15 minutes in the classroom, and then hit the high seas for the rest of the two hour block - effectively helping you earn those sea legs.
