Why You Should Go: Some days you wake up and just want to ring in the morning with a good old movie (you are not alone). Luckily, on August 18, you can head to the Northlake Mall Theaters and feast on breakfast goodies, shopping treats, and the big screen premiere of “Sparkle,” all for a good cause. The C.H.A.I.N. Fund’s Breakfast and a Movie™ event proceeds go to support the financial needs of cancer patients across the country.

What You Will Do: The unique events begins at 8am when the mall doors open and guests can browse shopping vendors and other treasures. At 8:30am, a piping hot breakfast is served, complete with grits, eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, tea, and more. Then you can get cozy in your seats for a personal welcoming from C.H.A.I.N Fund’s admin team and the feature presentation.

What You Should Know: Starring the late, great, Whitney Houston, along with Jordin Sparks, Vickie Winans, Ceelo Green, and more, “Sparkle” is a story about joy, power, and personal strength. The movie pairs well with the C.H.A.I.N. Funds’ work in giving financial aid to cancer patients across the country in their time of need.
