What You Should Know: Math-based frustration doesn’t discriminate by age. That’s why Mathnasium has trained professionals to tutor kids from pre-school to high school in all levels of mathematics. Your child’s Math Skill Assessment will consist of a comprehensive written evaluation to determine his or her weaknesses with respect to grade-level material, followed by an oral evaluation to assess the depth of the student’s understanding of key math concepts and skills. After the evaluation, Mathnasium tutors will explain their findings, and you’ll have the opportunity to go forward with tutoring tailored to your child and your child only.
